Hey, My name is Lloyd Edwards (aka Coach Ed.) .... I'm a Personal Trainer, Sports Coach, mentor, teacher, and an athlete. I founded RYB (Respect Your Body) Fitness because I'm a firm believer that health and fitness is so much more than just the outer body - its your physical, mental, social, and emotional wellbeing all wrapped up into one. I speak from experience - my body changed when my mentality and focus changed. I am a professional boxer and began working with Lloyd for my first title fight. I was challenging for the WBC international title in a 12 round contest. I was give 7 weeks to prepare. Lloyd was able to tailor a plan for the training camp that consisted of explosive strength work and intense conditioning with the perfect periodisation. I can honestly say it was the best shape I’d ever been in and I went on to win the title. After that fight it was a no brainer to keep Lloyd as my S&C coach. We went on to win and defend the EBU European title. With the help of Lloyds training programme I went onto be ranked #3 in the world. With his background of competing across many different sports at a high a level, he has a great knowledge of what athletes need. It’s great to work with him.
